How Install Surveillance WebCam Software

Installing Surveillance WebCam Software on Your Computer

• Before installing make sure you are logged on as Administrator, at your discretion, turn off anything that can block or interfere with other programs example, anti-virus software, on Vista - User Account Control, Defender, etc. After the program is installed, configured, and works right, then adjust and configure those programs accordingly. 

From Download

• from this web site, download the Software zip file to your computer.
• copy the downloaded file to an empty folder on your computer.
• double click the downloaded file to execute it, and follow the displayed instructions on how to install the program.
• after the program is installed, start the Surveillance WebCam program, go to menu item Help, Help Documentation, and follow the instructions on how to configure the program. Also in the Surveillance WebCam program, one can use menu item or button, Quick Setup, to configure the program.

From CD

• run the Setup.exe from the CD and follow the displayed instructions.
• after the program is installed, start the Surveillance WebCam program, go to menu item Help, Help Documentation, and follow the instructions on how to configure the program. Also in the Surveillance WebCam program, one can use menu item or button, Quick Setup, to configure the program.

Installing the Software License after Purchase

• After purchasing the Software, the software License File will arrive to you by email. Copy and save the License File from the email. Make a backup copy of the License File on a separate diskette - it is needed anytime the software is reinstalled. Copy the License File to the Surveillance WebCam program directory c:\monitor1\program. Then run the program.

How to Uninstall the Software

• From the Window's Desk Top, open the Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs, highlight Surveillance WebCam, click Remove - the program will uninstall itself.
• before uninstalling the program, optionally run the Surveillance WebCam, click on menu item Backup Restore Config Files, and backup your settings, and license. After if re-install you can restore your program settings automatically.
• if using our video multiplexer, run program InstallVidMux, and click on menu item Uninstall Video Multiplexer Driver. After uninstall Video Multiplexer Driver from Control Panel.
