Email Alarm Sample
The following is an example of an email alarm and how to interpret it.
The "Stream" links allow for playing video right from the received email in one mouse click, for quick alarm review.

for camera number 0. And also in other files around it if each camera
records to a separate file, for example also check other file
D072506T201055CAM001.avi the camera 1 file, and so forth. Thus check files with
a similar date and time D072506T201055 for all of the alarm conditions for all
cameras.

Note: "Stream" links below only are included in the email if you have File Streaming enabled in the Video Surveillance WebCam Software. Otherwise the "Stream" links below are not in the email alarm sent. Stream File program must be running.
Note: The "Stream" links only work if you enable them to work. You enable them through the Web Server Program, under menu item, Server, Set Server Configuration, Allow Some Stream File Commands Without Logon. Stream File program must be running.
The following are links to connect directly to your video monitoring computer running the Video Surveillance WebCam Software. Use these if links if your computer is connected to the internet with a simple modem, or you are connecting through your LAN.

So you can logon and execute whatever remote commands you want from the Admin
web page.

starts file streaming and plays the most recent recorded files in Windows Media Player.
As soon as newly created files become available they are streamed.

program. Do this when you have stopped reviewing the files, and are finished
with the email. Newly created files are loaded but not streamed.

using a router. You must insure that router's ip address or url has been
correctly entered into the Video Surveillance WebCam Software's settings, and that your router has been
configured correctly before hand - otherwise the links will not work.

this when you have stopped reviewing the files, and are finished with the email.
Newly created files are loaded but not streamed.
The number of additional files to play is equal to the value of the parameter, Number of Files to Play Forward, as set in the Stream File program, under menu item Program Settings.
If the given files above no longer exist or have been automatically deleted by the Video Surveillance WebCam Software the above stream file links will not work because they are outdated. Therefore old email alarms may have expired non-working links in them.
Stream File links may not also work if No Motion Alarms are used, since no video is stored to video files for no motion detection.
